Join in the journey as the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future try to enlighten Ebenezer Scrooge to see his past mistakes and what might be done to change his future. Will his humbug of a heart remain in Christmas? Or will Scrooge be persuaded to learn from his mistakes, to find the good in mankind and the message of love and giving that defines the Christmas season?

One Table, Four Conversations

One Table, Four Conversations......... Four contrasting situations arising at different times around the same table in a café. What are the conversations about? That would be telling. Suffice it to say that everything from cannibalism to constipation ends up being discussed around the table, set against a backdrop of adultery, death and the worst choice of birthday present ever.

Set against a backdrop of journalistic misinformation and broken morals, journalist Annie and divorcee Beth have their friendship put to the ultimate test when Annie encourages Beth to embark on an affair with husband Carl. When Beth’s ex-husband, John, appears, the surfacing of a dark secret puts Annie’s plans in jeopardy. As pressure mounts, both women are forced to face up to the past, a past in which they have been nothing less than loose with the truth.

An evening of short plays exploring the depth of life: from pain and loss to the faith and beauty of love and rebirth of the human spirit. Rules of Love, Swans flying, Rosen’s Garden, Benjamin Falling, House Made of Air, Lightning and Fiat are part of 27 short plays entitled The Metropolitan Operas which were commissioned in 1985 by Circle Repertory Company in New York City.

An inter-schools production of The Tempest by William Shakespeare, performed by 57 children from Mallorcan schools participating in the ISLA education programme. The Tempest is the story of a shipwreck, magic, family relationships and how it feels to be 'washed up' in an unexpected place.
These underlying challenges of migration, culture shock and internationalism that suffuse The Tempest made it an obvious choice for our schools Shakespeare collaboration.
